Overview:
We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support students in a school setting. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy and help students achieve their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services based on SLP-designed treatment plans.
- Assist in preparing therapy materials and maintaining accurate session documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress.
- Monitor and report on student performance and progress to the supervising SLP.
- Uphold professional and ethical standards in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Active SLPA license.
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to organize and manage a caseload effectively.
