Job Description: Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support individuals of all ages in improving their communication skills. You will assist in the implementation of treatment plans and collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and families to help clients achieve their speech and language goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting speech, language, and communication assessments.
- Help develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions using a variety of techniques and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and assist in adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support client success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to discussions on speech and language goals.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Valid state certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
