Job Title: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Location: Houston, TX
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary: Staring at $35/hr
The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) will support students with speech and language disorders under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Responsibilities include assisting with therapy plans, conducting individual and group sessions, and helping students reach their communication goals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with therapy sessions and implementation of therapy plans.
- Document student progress and maintain therapy records.
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support communication goals.
- Prepare and organize therapy materials.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state SLPA certification or licensure.
- Experience with students or in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
