Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students with speech and language disorders in a school setting. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide direct therapy services, document progress, and collaborate with school staff to improve students' communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy sessions as outlined in students’ treatment plans.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Track and document student progress.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, and parents to support student success.
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and state regulations.
Requirements:
- Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or related field.
- Valid GA SLPA license/certification.
- Experience in school or pediatric settings preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work independently under supervision.
