Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will work with a diverse group of students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders, helping them develop vital communication skills in a supportive and engaging school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy to students with speech and language delays or disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Monitor and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy as needed.
- Provide guidance to families on home strategies to support speech development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Pennsylvania state licensure (or eligibility).
- Experience with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a passion for helping students succeed.
