Position Overview:
Soliant Health is seeking qualified Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPAs) for full-time positions in Bristol, Rhode Island. These roles involve working with students in a school-based setting to support their communication needs and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in accordance with their IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Supervise SLPAs (for SLPs) as required by district and licensure standards.
Qualifications for SLPs:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Rhode Island SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFs are welcome to apply.
Qualifications for SLPAs:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Active Rhode Island SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
