Speech Language Pathologists (CCC or CFs) - Hiring near Cerritos, California
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CF) to join a supportive school district near Cerritos, CA. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to work with students, helping them overcome communication challenges and achieve academic success. Whether you are an experienced SLP or a recent graduate ready to begin your Clinical Fellowship (CF), we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in alignment with IEP goals.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to create supportive learning environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services provided.
- Attend IEP meetings and serve as a resource on speech-language development.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility to begin a Clinical Fellowship (CF).
- Active California SLP License issued by the California Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and Hearing Aid Dispensers Board.
- California Credential for Speech-Language Pathologists for school-based positions.
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills.
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but not required.
California State Requirements:
- Hold or be eligible for a valid California SLP License and California Teacher Credential in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Successfully complete required background checks, including fingerprinting, as per California education standards.
