Speech Language Pathologist - Yuma, AZ
ProCare Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Yuma, Arizona. This is a full-time contracted position where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of students by providing high-quality speech and language therapy services. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert advice on speech and language development.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current Arizona state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
