Your Role: Empowering Students to Succeed
- Enhance Communication: Help students develop essential verbal and non-verbal communication skills for classroom success.
- Support Cognitive Development: Assist with memory, attention, and problem-solving to improve learning outcomes.
- Ensure Safe Swallowing: Work with students experiencing swallowing challenges to ensure safety and comfort.
- Provide Communication Tools: Equip non-verbal students with communication boards and speech-generating devices.
- Improve Voice Quality: Guide students in developing healthy pitch, tone, and volume for effective communication.
- Foster Expression: Help students express themselves clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- Diagnose & Treat Disorders: Address articulation, fluency, and voice disorders to help students achieve their full potential.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active South Carolina SLP license required; Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply!
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech and Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Experience: Prior school-based experience is preferred but not essential.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: Competitive pay ranging from $45–$55, based on qualifications and experience.
