Speech Language Pathologist - Virtual Therapy
Job Summary:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality services in a school-based setting. This is a full-time, full-year contracted position, offering the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home. As a virtual SLP, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech and language disorders, providing therapy services, and collaborating with school teams to support student success.
Requirements:
- ASHA Certification
- State License (in the state where services will be provided)
- Tech Screen Completed and Passed
- Ability to obtain liability insurance prior to starting
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments, screenings, and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide direct speech therapy services through a virtual platform
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to monitor student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations as needed
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in teletherapy and speech-language pathology
