Speech Language Pathologist
Current School Year, Contract
Caseload:
- Full Time, 40 hours a week
- 1st - 9th grade, about 40 students
- Itinerant, 3 locations
Caseload details will be discussed on the virtual interview.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students’ specific communication needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, using evidence-based practices to improve their speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational staff to integrate speech and language goals into the students’ academic programs.
- Communicate with parents and guardians to discuss students’ progress, share strategies for supporting their development at home, and address any concerns.
- Participate in individualized education program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals and objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans.
- Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and education.
Qualifications:
- Must have an active SLP State License - CCC
- Must have Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
