Speech Language Pathologist - Telehealth

Location: Virtual (California residents preferred)
Employment Type: 1099 contract through Soliant Education
Pay Rate: $45-$65 per hour, based on experience and district budgets
Hours: Guaranteed hours, weekly pay
Soliant Education is seeking a qualified and motivated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in California. This position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with the opportunity to provide essential speech therapy services to students across the state.
Role Overview: As a Virtual SLP, you will collaborate with students, parents, and educators to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. You will work remotely to deliver high-quality therapy sessions and support student progress in accordance with individual education plans (IEPs).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to improve communication skills.
- Provide direct therapy services through virtual platforms, ensuring engagement and progress monitoring.
- Collaborate with school staff and parents to support students' academic and social-emotional development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and California state licensure (or ability to obtain).
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong technology skills and ability to pass a tech screen for virtual platforms.
- Liability insurance required upon start date.
