Soliant is excited to collaborate with a school district in St. Joseph, TX, in the search for passionate professionals to join their team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
Location: St. Joseph, TX
Job Description for SLP:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students across various grade levels.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech and language disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to support student progress and achievement.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements for SLP:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in school settings is advantageous.
Job Description for SLPA:
- Assist the SLP in providing speech and language therapy services to students.
- Conduct therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Support in conducting assessments and maintaining documentation of student progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement therapy goals.
Requirements for SLPA:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Texas Speech-Language Pathology Assistant License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience in educational or clinical settings is beneficial.
