About the Role:

Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive educational setting? Soliant Education is seeking an experienced and compassionate SLP to join our team in Danbury, CT. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a vibrant school district on a contract basis for the full school year, with the flexibility to choose full-time or part-time hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress and treatment.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Connecticut.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
