Position: School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Greenwood, South Carolina, USA
Type: Full-time
Responsibilities: As a School-Based SLP in Greenwood, you will:
- Conduct assessments and provide therapy services to students with communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' academic and social success.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings.
- Provide education and support to staff and families regarding speech and language development strategies.
Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- South Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
