Job Description: We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Yukon, OK. This role involves working with students to assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, helping them thrive in both academic and social settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students with speech, language, and communication difficulties.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and set goals for therapy.
- Provide direct speech therapy services tailored to students' needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create supportive learning environments.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to creating Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Track and document student progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as needed.
- Provide consultation to parents and teachers to support students outside of therapy sessions.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Oklahoma state licensure or ability to obtain licensure.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
