Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Weymouth, MA. This contract role involves working with K-12 students to address their speech and language needs, fostering their communication skills to support academic and social success.
- Elementary Caseload
- Monday-Friday
- Must have AAC Device experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans for students with speech and language challenges
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to promote student goals
- Provide direct therapy and track student progress through detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student assessments
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Massachusetts SLP license (or willingness to obtain)
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred, but not mandatory
