Role Overview: As a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist at Soliant, you will play a vital role in providing speech and language services to students within a school setting. This position is ideal for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who is motivated to make a positive impact on students' lives.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and student needs.
- Provide therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective communication strategies.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Stay informed about advancements in the field of speech-language pathology and participate in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
