Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Waltham, MA
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Massachusetts Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Waltham, MA. This position is focused on providing speech and language therapy in a school-based setting to students who require assistance in improving their communication skills. The SLP will work closely with educators, students, and families to support students in reaching their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in children.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address specific communication challenges.
- Provide both individual and group therapy sessions to students with speech and language needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel to create effective learning environments for students.
- Monitor and document progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with students, families, and school staff.
