Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Troy, NC
Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, North Carolina State Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Troy, NC. This is a school-based position where you will provide speech and language therapy to students of various ages, working closely with educational staff and families to support students' communication development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students overcome speech and language barriers in a collaborative and positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments for students with speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each student.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure the implementation of effective strategies for communication.
- Monitor and track student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to discussions regarding students' progress and needs.
- Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and families on how to support speech and language development.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and therapy sessions.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding speech-language services.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- North Carolina State Licensure (SLP).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous school-based experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them develop the communication skills needed for academic success.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
