Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Tinley Park, IL. The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students' communication development and helping them achieve their speech and language goals.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments and student needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to create a supportive learning environment for students.
- Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings to develop goals and review progress with team members.
- Provide resources and training to parents, caregivers, and staff to reinforce skills.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Illinois state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFs considered.
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
