Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Telehealth
Location: Remote (Pennsylvania license required)
Employment Type: Independent contractor (1099) through Soliant Education
Compensation: Hourly pay ranging from $40 to $55, based on experience and school district budgets
Hours: Guaranteed hours with weekly compensation
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Pennsylvania. This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing essential speech therapy services to students across the state.
Position Overview: As a Virtual SLP, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders remotely. Your role involves collaborating closely with students, families, and educational teams to deliver personalized therapy plans aligned with individual education plans (IEPs).
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough virtual assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy interventions to improve communication skills effectively.
- Lead engaging and interactive therapy sessions using advanced virtual platforms.
- Collaborate with school personnel and families to foster student progress and developmental goals.
- Maintain meticulous records of therapy sessions and progress reports to track student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Possess ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) and Pennsylvania state licensure (or eligibility to obtain).
- Demonstrate experience working with school-aged children, ideally in a remote or virtual environment.
- Exhibit proficiency in utilizing virtual therapy tools and successfully passing a technical assessment.
- Procure liability insurance prior to the commencement of employment.
