Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Stockton, CA. The ideal candidate will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders, helping them reach their full potential in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with communication and speech disorders.
- Provide direct therapy to address articulation, fluency, language, and voice issues.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement speech interventions that enhance students’ educational experience.
- Participate in the creation and management of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students requiring special services.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Provide training and support to parents and staff to reinforce therapy strategies at home and in the classroom.
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and school district policies.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- California state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.
