Requirements: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Ohio Licensure
Pay Range: $35-$55 per hour, based on experience
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Springfield, OH. This is a school-based position where you will be responsible for providing therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs. You will work collaboratively with teachers and staff to support students’ academic and social success, ensuring they meet their speech and language goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services in both one-on-one and group settings.
- Document and monitor students' progress toward therapy goals, adjusting plans as needed.
- Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to goal setting and program planning.
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other school professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each student.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure in Ohio as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are welcome to apply.
- Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
