Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join a school district in Newark, DE. The SLP/SLPA will provide essential therapy services to students, helping them improve their speech and language skills to support their academic and social development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor student progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student goals.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress monitoring.
Qualifications:
- For SLP: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, valid Delaware SLP license, Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- For SLPA: Associate’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field, valid Delaware SLPA license.
- Experience in a school setting is a plus.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
