Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in South River, NJ. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a school-based setting, where you will assess and treat students with speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will be committed to making a positive impact on students' communication skills and academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess student needs and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual and group sessions.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to provide a holistic approach to student care.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering valuable input and progress updates.
- Maintain accurate and timely records of therapy sessions, assessments, and student progress.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- New Jersey State Licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred. Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Experience working with children, particularly in a school setting, is preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
