Position Overview:
Join our team as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in South Bend, IN, and help students achieve their fullest potential in communication and academic success. This school-based position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify speech and language challenges and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to support student goals.
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Track and document student progress, ensuring compliance with educational standards.
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering insights and recommendations for therapy adjustments.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Indiana State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is a plus, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
