Schedule:
- 3 days a week at a Mild to Severe/ID Elementary School
- 2 days a week at a Spanish Speaking Site (Bilingual not required)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in the Dublin, CA area. The successful candidate will provide speech and language therapy services to students across multiple campuses. This is a full/part-time position with a schedule of 3 days a week at an elementary school serving students with mild to severe intellectual disabilities and 2 days a week at a Spanish-speaking site (note: bilingual skills are not required for this position).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to students with speech and language disorders.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- If applying as an SLPA, work under the supervision of a licensed SLP (a supervising SLP will be hired if needed).
Qualifications:
- For SLP: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, current California SLP license, and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- For SLPA: Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistance or equivalent, current California SLPA license, and relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
