About the Role: We are seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) to join our dynamic team in Orange Park, Florida. With numerous vacancies available, there are opportunities district-wide, particularly on the northwest side of town.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy to students across various settings.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Flexibly manage assignments, which may include working in one building or splitting time between two buildings.
- Optional assignments in AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) classrooms based on need.
Qualifications for SLPs:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Florida.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Qualifications for SLPAs:
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Valid State licensure in Florida
- Preferably some experience in a school setting.
- Flexibility with assignments and locations.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
