Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Based

Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and assess the speech and language needs of students.
- Create individualized therapy plans that address each student’s specific challenges and goals.
- Deliver targeted therapy using evidence-based strategies and techniques.
- Partner with teachers, families, and school staff to track progress and ensure comprehensive support for students.
- Contribute to IEP meetings, offering recommendations and insights for student development.
- Keep accurate records of therapy sessions, monitoring student progress over time.
- Advise school staff on strategies to support students' communication development.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active SLP license in Virginia.
- ASHA CCC certification is a plus, but not required.
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
