Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Job Description:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Woodhaven, MI. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders, helping them to communicate effectively and achieve their full potential in an educational setting.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support the integration of therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering insights and recommendations for students' speech and language goals.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
