Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team in Parkway, MO. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders, providing essential support to enhance their communication skills and achieve academic and social success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students and regularly monitor their progress.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and home environments.
- Maintain detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering insights and recommendations for students’ speech and language goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Missouri.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
