Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Starrville, TX. In this school-based role, you will provide assessment and therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, helping them improve their communication skills and succeed in their academic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication skills.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address specific speech and language needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students and monitor their progress regularly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom and at home.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing input on students' speech and language goals.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
