Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Garland, TX. This school-based position involves working with students to diagnose and treat speech and language disorders, helping them to achieve their full potential in both academic and social settings.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor progress to ensure the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support and integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide insights and recommendations on students’ speech and language goals.
- Stay informed about the latest practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Texas.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
