Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - School-Based

Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Fraser, MI. This school-based position involves working with students to address a range of speech and language disorders, ensuring they achieve their educational and personal goals.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Provide direct therapy services and monitor students’ progress regularly.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate therapy goals into the classroom environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of therapy sessions, progress, and student outcomes.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations for students’ speech and language needs.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and educational staff.
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred but not required.
