Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Based
About Us: Soliant Education is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area. Position Overview: We are looking for a full-time School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students within the Charlotte, NC area. The SLP will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and other members of the educational team to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in school-aged children.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine students' strengths and areas of need.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' communication goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Monitor students' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Valid license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of North Carolina.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
