Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Woodhull, NY. The SLP will evaluate and treat students with speech and language disorders to enhance their communication skills and academic performance.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff.
- Document progress and participate in IEP meetings.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid New York SLP license.
- ASHA CCC preferred.
- Experience in a school setting is advantageous.
