Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a dynamic team in Thurmont, MD. This full-time role is perfect for both experienced CCC-SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFs) who are looking to make a difference in the lives of students across K-12th grades. With a caseload of 45-50 students, you will have the opportunity to provide direct therapy, conduct assessments, and participate in IEP meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Conduct evaluations and write detailed reports to track student progress
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and the multidisciplinary team during IEP meetings
- Support students with varying communication needs and create individualized treatment plans
Job Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Caseload: 45-50 students from K-12
- Hours: Start times vary between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m., depending on the school
- Duties: Therapy, assessments, report writing, and IEP participation
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Maryland SLP license or eligibility required
- CCC-SLP or CFY candidates welcome to apply
- Strong organizational and collaboration skills
- Experience in a school setting is a plus but not mandatory
