Overview:
A dynamic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to join a dedicated school district near Magna, UT. In this role, you will support students across grades K-12 with various speech and language needs. We are looking for an SLP who is passionate about helping students thrive in an academic setting, with immediate availability for the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students in grades K-12.
- Develop and implement tailored therapy plans aligned with each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions, adjusting approaches as needed to track student progress.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to optimize student outcomes.
- Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress notes, and treatment sessions in compliance with school district guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Utah SLP license or the ability to obtain licensure promptly.
- Prior experience in a school-based setting is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
