Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity in Tacoma, WA!
Are you a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF) eager to make a significant impact in Tacoma, WA? ProCare Therapy is offering a full-time opportunity for the 2024-2025 school year, with competitive pay ranging from $48 to $54 per hour. This role provides the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload of students from PreK to high school, delivering essential speech therapy services.
Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CF)
Location: Tacoma, WA
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Pay Rate: $48 - $54 per hour
Caseload: Approximately 44 students, ranging from PreK to high school
Dates: 2024-2025 School Year
Requirements: Must have SLP licensure in Washington and be able to work in person
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language services, including evaluations, therapy, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, ensuring compliance with service minutes
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Active SLP license in the state of Washington
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting and with IEPs is preferred
- Clinical Fellows: CF candidates are welcome to apply, provided supervision can be arranged
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a diverse caseload
