We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping students develop their speech and language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
- Providing direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in educational environments.
- Monitoring students' progress and adjusting therapy interventions as necessary.
- Participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting.
