Hours: Full-time, Full 24/25 School Year
Caseload: Middle School, 55 students max (average 45)
About the Role: ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) position in San Jose, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated SLP to make a significant impact in a supportive middle school environment.
Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position in a welcoming and inclusive school setting.
- Setting: Onsite, providing essential speech therapy services to middle school students.
- Focus: Addressing a range of speech and language needs specific to middle school students.
- Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, with an average of 45 students.
What You'll Do:
- Therapy Services: Deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to meet each student’s unique needs.
- Manage Caseload: Provide dedicated support to middle school students with varying speech and language requirements.
- Collaborate: Work closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to provide comprehensive support.
- Monitor Progress: Track and adjust therapy plans based on student progress.
- Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.
A Day in the Life: Start your day with a warm greeting from colleagues and students. Mornings will involve delivering tailored therapy sessions to middle school students. During lunch, collaborate with teachers and parents to discuss strategies and progress. The afternoon will be spent on additional therapy sessions and planning, all contributing to the students' growth and development.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensure: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license in California.
- Experience: School setting experience preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
