ProCare Therapy is excited to offer a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) position in Rockwood, MI. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to support students in a vibrant and supportive educational environment.
Your Impact:
- Role: Full-time position in a dynamic and inclusive school setting.
- Setting: Onsite, delivering crucial speech therapy services to students.
- Focus: Addressing a range of speech and language needs specific to students.
- Caseload Size: Manage a caseload of up to 45 students.
What You'll Do:
- Therapy Services: Deliver individualized therapy sessions tailored to each student’s needs.
- Manage Caseload: Provide focused support to students with various speech and language requirements.
- Collaborate: Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Monitor Progress: Track and adjust therapy plans based on student development.
- Engage: Conduct effective one-on-one or small group therapy sessions.
A Day in the Life:
Your day starts with a friendly greeting from students and staff. Mornings are dedicated to providing tailored therapy sessions. During lunch, you’ll collaborate with teachers and parents to review progress and discuss strategies. The afternoon will be spent on more therapy sessions and planning, all contributing to the students' growth and success.
What We’re Looking For:
- Licensure: Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) license in Michigan.
- Experience: Experience in a school setting preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
- Skills: Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
- Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
