Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) School-Based Position in Malden, MA

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Malden, MA. This school-based role will involve working with students to assess and address speech, language, and communication challenges. Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to assess the needs of students with communication disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans for students based on assessment results.
- Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure therapy goals are aligned with academic objectives.
- Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings to provide insights and recommendations for student goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to ensure continuous improvement.
- Offer training and resources to parents and caregivers to support communication development at home.
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, therapy sessions, and assessments.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students’ overall academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Massachusetts state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (or eligibility for licensure).
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and case management.
