Soliant is seeking a dedicated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a school-based position in Galion, OH. Join our team and provide vital speech therapy services to students, helping them develop their communication skills and thrive in their academic and social environments.
Position Details:
- Location: Galion, OH
- Job Type: Full-time, School-Based
- Start Date: Immediate or upcoming school year
- Caseload: Elementary to high school students (specific caseload details to be discussed during the interview)
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services to students in individual or group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies and regulations
- Educate staff and parents on speech-language development and disorders
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active OH state SLP license
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
