Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
Location: Petersburg, TN
Hours: Full Time, 35 Hours per Week
Work Schedule: August 1st, 2024 - May 20th, 2025
Caseload: Approximately 50-55 students
Age Group: Primarily Elementary (2nd Grade - 12th Grade)
Setting: Onsite Only
Case Types: Variety from Mild to Moderate, with some Severe Cases
Support: No SLPA
Job Details:
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive Support: Provide exceptional speech-language therapy to a diverse caseload of students, focusing mainly on elementary-aged children.
- Assessment and Intervention: Perform thorough evaluations to identify speech and language disorders and develop tailored therapy plans.
- Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals, and keep precise records of therapy sessions and student progress.
- IEP Meeting Participation: Engage in IEP meetings to review student progress and update therapy goals.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Licensure: Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Tennessee.
- Experience: Previous experience in a school setting preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates are welcome.
