Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Part-Time Opportunity
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
About the Position:
ProCare Therapy is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school district in Oklahoma City, OK, for a part-time backfill position starting in January. This role involves working across K-12 grade levels, focusing primarily on elementary evaluations and providing direct therapy for middle and high school students.
Position Details:
- Part-time schedule
- January start
- Caseload:
- Elementary: Evaluations
- Middle and High School: Direct therapy
- AAC experience preferred but not required
- Candidates with prior experience in Oklahoma schools are preferred due to familiarity with the state’s IEP system
Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations for elementary students to determine speech and language needs
- Provide direct therapy to middle and high school students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement IEPs
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
Requirements:
- Active Oklahoma SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with AAC devices is a plus
