Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time
Location: Newport News, VA
Job Type: Full-Time, Contract
ProCare Therapy is seeking experienced and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district in Newport News, VA. With multiple openings available, we can align candidates with their preferred age group and caseload for the 2024-2025 school year, including Extended School Year (ESY).
Position Details:
- Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
- Duration: Full school year, including ESY
- Caseload:
- Range of age groups (preferences matched)
- High school/secondary caseloads will include some dismissals
- Elementary caseloads will include some initial evaluations
- Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations
- Manage and implement IEPs
- Provide direct speech therapy services
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
Requirements:
- Active Virginia SLP license
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- School-based experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
