Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our educational team near Odessa, DE. This role involves working with students to enhance their communication skills, supporting their academic and social development in a school-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct therapy using effective, evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student success.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress reporting.
- Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student progress.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Delaware.
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting is beneficial but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
