Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a skilled and motivated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Marshall, MI. This school-based position focuses on providing speech and language therapy to students with varying communication needs, enabling them to achieve academic success and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to evaluate students’ speech and language abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' educational goals.
- Document progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive educational plans.
- Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Valid Michigan state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Previous experience in a school setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
